Breeding

Breeding among Canid packs is a seasonal affair. Breeding festivals come with the changing of the seasons, and new cubs are born four times each year. The spring, summer and fall seasons are smaller, with a limit of 2 cubs joining each pack. The winter season, presided over by the Starborn Matsuri, brings a higher limit of 5 cubs for each pack. During these seasonal festivals, Starborn are known to descend from Ouranos. They seek out Canids that possess a heavenly trinket and bless them with a cub from the heavens.

In order to participate in the breeding season, you must possess a breeding potion or a heavenly trinket. Different potions have different effects and many can be combined. Please read below to find out what effect your potion has.

Potions
	Red Potion	Your basic potion. It allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together
	Orange Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of the same gender together.
	Purple Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees a male cub (normally only a 10% chance!)
	Rainbow Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Both parents must be mutationless; this potion guarantees a random mutation.
	Cyan Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. This potion guarantees an item based on the parents, be it their names, markings, their own items,etc.
	Tartan Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. This potion guarantees tattoos and/or piercings on the cub.
	Green Potion	Allows you to breed a zodiac or planetary Canid with a Canid of the opposing gender. May only be combined with an orange potion.
	Blue Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees identical twins.
	Pink Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees fraternal twins.
	Blue Leopard Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees identical triplets.
	Pink Leopard Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees fraternal triplets.
	Checkered Potion	Allows you to breed up to 10 Canids together, with mutations inheriting at the usual rates from all parents. May only be combined with cyan, tartan and purple potions. Additionally, mutations that would require a different base template from their two parent templates may not be combined if the template does not already exist.
	Black Potion	Allows you to breed 2 "breed" Canids of opposing gender together. May not be combined with other potions.
	Black 'n Blue Potion	Allows you to breed 2 "breed" Canids of opposing gender together. May not be combined with other potions. Guarantees identical twins.
	Black 'n Purple Potion	Allows you to breed 2 "breed" Canids of opposing gender together. May not be combined with other potions. Guarantees a male cub.
	Black 'n Orange Potion	Allows you to breed 2 "breed" Canids of the same gender together. May not be combined with other potions.
	Plushie Potion	Allows you to breed 2 plushie Canids of opposing gender together. May be mixed with orange and purple potions.
	Moth Potion	Allows you to breed 2 moth Canids of opposing gender together. May be mixed with orange and purple potions.
	Fawn Potion	Allows you to breed 2 fawn Canids of opposing gender together. May be mixed with orange and purple potions.
	Glass Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. May only be combined with orange, purple, rainbow, cyan and tartan potions. Max 1 per person per season, other limitations vary by season.
	Siam Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees Siamese point markings and cheek fluffs.May be mixed with orange, purple, rainbow, cyan and tartan potions.
	Striped Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees a mutation of your choice from either parent. All other mutations pass at the usual rate.
	Summer Potion	Allows you to breed 2 Canids of opposing gender together. Guarantees that the newest mutation present on either parent is passed down. All other mutations pass at the usual rate.
