Jewel is an empath and healer with a real soft spot for cubs. She and her mate Creamy left their old pack under a bit of a cloud and their new pack has no territory or cave yet. Orphaned at a young age, she has no conscious memory of her birth parents. She was found as a three-month-old cub and taken in by a pack of mostly dragon Lykoss, and was raised by their shaman, a phoenix. He instilled in her the belief that all living beings on Lunara are kin, even those that are not Lykos, and that all must be treated with respect.
