Liang is a very self assured and confident Eastern who believes himself to be equal to or better than just about anyone else - with the exception of a certain demon. His loyalty to Apathy runs deep and he would follow any order the Fire Lord gave - even if it meant tuning on a fellow Eastern.

He cares nothing for the normal Lupines - they are small and weak, and ultimately he thinks that Argeisli would be better off without them. Even the ones who have chosen to side with Apathy he looks upon with disdain. He is calculating and clever - although he is not weak by any means Liang prefers to conquer though scheming, rather than dominating strictly through brute strength. It is simply more challenging and ultimately satisfying - especially when dealing with the little weakling Lupines. When looking for a bit of fun, he likes nothing better than to see if he can stir up some dissension among those who have stayed in Apathys lands, just to see if he can get them to fight among themselves.

He tends to be more isolated from his brother and sister Easterns then is the norm. His confidence gives him a certain swagger and attitude that can set the others on edge if he over does it. He also sometimes tries more dangerous and risky schemes among them at times, seeking to improve his own standing. These plans are much more subtle, of course, but none have worked so far. This has made the other Easterns more wary of him, though he is always willing to display a united front against all foes when necessary.
