"Callie!" King Everett's voice was as panicked as she had ever heard him. Swift as an arrow, Queen Calliope dashed down the hall, past the throne room and the banquet hall, up the stairs as he called frantically for her again. Her heart in her throat, she burst into the bathing hall, expecting... well, not expecting the sight that greeted her! Her fierce husband, a warrior without compare in all the lands, was tucked up tight into the corner of the bath tub, staring in horror down at the floor of the bathing chamber, and his eyes light with pure relief as he finally notices her in the doorway.
"My love! Help!" he calls, pointing down at the tiny spider barring him from leaving the tub. With a bemused expression, Callie goes to retrieve a cup to banish her husband's tiny foe. Who knew he was so scared of spiders?
